The Packer’s West Coast Produce Expo to Celebrate Ten Year Anniversary With Largest Event Yet

Lenexa, Kan., (March 6, 2023) The produce industry’s premier domestic networking event, West Coast Produce Expo, will celebrate its tenth anniversary, May 19-20, 2023, at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert, Calif. WCPE organizers are planning a fun-filled agenda that will deliver the same high-quality connection opportunities for attendees and exhibitors, backed by The Packer’s decades-long industry expertise and proprietary data.

WCPE attracts national buyers with a breadth of decision-maker titles while maintaining an intimate, regional feel and three-to-one buyer-to-supplier ratio. Familiar favorites such as the golf tournament and second annual pickleball tournament are returning, with high-profile keynote speakers, farm and field tours and a bustling exhibit floor rounding out the agenda.

“As in-person events evolve and change, we are extremely proud that West Coast Produce Expo continues to grow and deliver increasing value,” said Matt Morgan, executive vice president of produce for Farm Journal. “We know that participants come back year after year for the fun atmosphere that inspires true connections and real business opportunities, and the 2023 event will deliver that in spades.”

Along with the exhibits and receptions, retail and foodservice buyers can connect with fresh produce suppliers and service providers via The Packer’s BizMatch meeting scheduler service, which will be offered both days of the event. Additionally, to commemorate WCPE’s tenth year, attendees will be invited to participate in an interactive scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes. Also new in 2023 is a “Best in Show” contest to recognize the top ten exhibitors with the most innovative and engaging booth experiences.

A limited number of high-profile sponsorships for the event are available. To learn more about the schedule or register for the event, please visit www.westcoastproduceexpo.com.
