Farm Journal Field Days

The Biggest Name in Farm Equipment to Lead Field Demonstrations at Farm Journal Field Days

Lenexa, Kan., (July 24, 2020) — Farm Journal announces Greg Peterson, aka “Machinery Pete,” will host a series of equipment demonstrations at the inaugural Farm Journal Field Days TM. Happening August 25-27, Farm Journal Field Days will feature both virtual and on-farm demo opportunities aimed at bringing buyers and sellers together in different and unique ways.

As part of the Machinery Pete Equipment Pavilion, leading manufacturers will showcase a wide variety of new products and technology through from-the-field video demonstrations. Machinery Pete himself will guide a nationwide virtual audience of farmers and ranchers as they learn about the latest equipment advances just in time for harvest.

“I am so excited to be a part of this new and better 24/7/365 online farm show,” Peterson said. “Our Machinery Pete Pavilion will be a happening place. I am particularly excited about bringing you field demo videos on the latest new farm equipment products — aggregated in one place with you at the controls. Watch when you want. There’s no off switch on this farm show, folks. The tents won’t come down after three days.”

Machinery Pete has a massive online and social following. MachineryPete.com generates more than 6.5-million page views monthly, and Peterson’s social following includes more than 250,000 connections across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. In addition, Machinery Pete TV airs twice weekly on RFD-TV and on a nationwide network of local affiliates.

Along with the equipment demonstrations, the virtual program at Farm Journal Field Days will include a main stage with powerful keynote speakers and demonstrations; special pavilions for equipment, crops, livestock, technology and other topics; interactive exhibits from leading agribusiness companies; and interactive discussions with other farmers and ranchers.

Online participants will mingle with VIPs participating in COVID-conscious live events on farms in Iowa and Ohio. The program is designed to attract qualified national audiences from every segment in agriculture and will continue online for a year to deliver 24/7/365-day engagement and data-driven lead activation for participating companies. The blitz ends with the #FarmON™ 4-H Benefit Concert, headlined by Grammy-nominated and ACM Award winning country music artist Lee Brice, who joins a slate of top country performers, including Justin Moore, in a free virtual concert.
