Kansas City, MO., (March 24, 2026)Farm Journal, U.S. agriculture’s leading business information and data insights company, has named Haley Bickelhaupt anchor of AgDay, the nationally syndicated newscast delivering daily news and analysis to America’s farmers and ranchers. She will lead daily coverage of ag markets, policy, and rural developments. Her role will have a special focus on issues impacting the next generation of men and women who will shape the industry in the years to come.

Bickelhaupt joins AgDay after serving as a reporter, anchor, and producer at the ABC affiliate station in Moline, IL. A University of Illinois graduate in Agricultural Communications, Haley also worked as the Communications Manager for the Illinois Corn Growers Association and spent a summer in Washington, D.C. as an intern for Agri-Pulse.

Her ag roots run deep. As a seventh-generation member of an Illinois family farm, Bickelhaupt grew up raising Hereford cattle and working on a diversified row-crop operation. “U.S. agriculture is incredibly diverse and every producer has a story to tell,” Bickelhaupt says. “I am grateful for the opportunity to join AgDay and connect with farmers and ranchers across the country.”

Bickelhaupt notes her personal background has shaped how she approaches reporting on the industry.

“Growing up on a farm gives me a perspective that helps me better understand the challenges and opportunities producers face,” she explains. “It is important to me that ag and rural communities have a platform in the news. I look forward to bringing voices impacting agriculture today to viewers nationwide.”

Bickelhaupt steps into this new position as AgDay’s current host, Clinton Griffiths, is elevated to a new role as the overall content lead for the company. In this capacity, Griffiths will drive comprehensive strategy and execution for Farm Journal’s team of multi-media journalists. He will continue to appear on-air as both a guest host and reporting on special projects.

“For the past 15 years it’s been a privilege to be part of AgDay’s legacy of delivering the news that matters most to American agriculture,” Griffiths says. “I look forward to continuing this work in an expanded role, one that allows me to serve an industry that is evolving to meet the needs of a growing world.”

Chris Seper, the executive vice president of Farm Journal brands, said the promotion of Griffiths and the addition of Bickelhaupt affirm AgDay’s commitment to agriculture and rural America.

“AgDay is like American agriculture itself: staying true to its roots while looking to bring in the next generation to carry on its traditions. Haley brings authentic agricultural roots, strong journalism experience, and genuine passion for telling farmers’ stories. Now Clinton will take his knowledge and use it to support all of Farm Journal’s journalism.”
