Michelle Rook

“Michelle brings deep agriculture knowledge and strong rural roots to our Farm Journal team,” said Charlene Finck, president of Farm Journal. “From broadcast to digital to print, she’ll provide our agriculture audiences with news and information that is important to them and their business. I’m proud to welcome her to The Farm.”

She is a member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) and in 2006 served as the organization’s President. Rook grew up on a dairy and crop farm in eastern South Dakota and her parents are still involved in the operation. She has bachelor’s degrees in dairy manufacturing and ag journalism and a master’s degree in journalism from South Dakota State University. She also earned her broadcast meteorology degree from Mississippi State University.

“I am excited to join the Farm Journal team and appreciate the company’s vision of serving America’s farmers and ranchers with the key information they need daily to drive the important business of agriculture,” said Rook.
