The Sales Coordinator, Trust In Food, provides critical support to one of Farm Journal’s fastest growing initiatives.

This vital rolesupports the sales and executive teams in the achievement of growth goals and maintains positive internal and customer relations as we support clients in creating custom solutions to meet sustainable agriculture objectives.

We’re a unique group of behavioral science and strategic communications experts grounded in solid sustainable agriculture science, revolutionizing how producers connect with the products, practices and services they need to become more resilient and sustainable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect for new business, initiate contact and set meetings on behalf of sales director and senior executives
  • Arrange for the creation and distribution of presentations and supporting documents to help generate business leads and close sales
  • Support senior management with report generation, event coordination, scheduling, and internal resource trafficking to ensure clients and prospects maintain rapid progression
  • Research industry trends and market outlook to support new business initiative vetting, launch and follow through
  • Interface with prospects and current clients in support of sales and account growth objectives
  • Produce proposals, SOWs and contracts under senior sales staff’s leadership


SKILLS NEEDED

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills to function as a cross departmental liaison
  • Proficient in online research and prospecting
  • Demonstrated ability to assist senior management and sales representatives with growth objectives
  • Highly organized and capable of multitasking while being committed to excellence
  • Professional communicator and presenter
