Digital CSM

The Digital CSM for will actively help with RFPs, deals, pitches, and program creation for digital advertising clients. The person in this position will work closely with sales and editorial roles to conceptualize, guide, maintain, and assist in developing new digital product ideas. They will provide active sales support and guide marketing, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for all digital products. This person will be an absolute expert in our markets, clients, and audience and a liaison between technical and non-technical roles in the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Work closely with sales and brand directors, meeting regularly to discuss product ideas and performance of current products.
  • Assist with RFPs, deals, pitches, calls, program creation as needed
  • Sales training and enablement for the organization on digital products
  • Curation of sales asset library for digital products
  • Actively understand client/prospect base and reader base inside and out, keeping abreast of prospect pipeline and matching product strategy to pipeline as well as established client needs
  • Assist with GTM sales collateral including digital media kits, product demos, playbooks, digital packages, benchmark and spec sheet curation
  • Propose detailed product plans including pricing and feature set
  • Work closely with web development team on new product execution and timelines
  • Committed to managing new products during “incubation phase” before dedicated resources can be assigned/justified to new products
  • Work closely with Audience Development & Data Teams on segmentation, targeting, and analysis of audience and engagement for new and existing digital products
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Travel as needed to support editorial, sales and Custom Media across all properties

Skills/Professional Experience

These qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or comparable discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and technical product development
  • Ability to predict, systemize, simplify, delegate, and structure business problems and solutions
  • Good verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of procedures and projects and materials.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Proactive, creative problem solver
  • Familiarity with web application concepts and general workings of the Internet
  • Thorough knowledge of B2B audience concepts
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics and Marketo, amongst other platforms preferred
  • Creative product development mindset
  • Confidence in presenting information such as products and results both internally and to customers
