Former NFL Player and Industry-Leading CEO to Give Keynote and Closing Addresses at Farm Journal’s Top Producer Summit

Lenexa, Kan., (Dec. 26, 2019) — Farm Journal announced two speakers for its 2020 Top Producer Summit, slated for Jan. 27–30 in Chicago, including Matt Mayberry, former NFL linebacker for the Chicago Bears and top-rated national keynote speaker, and Garry O. Ridge, CEO and member of the board of directors of the WD-40 Company.

As a former NFL player, healthcare industry business professional and entrepreneur, Mayberry has a real-world understanding that success is based on four key areas of peak performance: overcoming adversity, motivation, culture and teamwork. Currently one of the most-read columnists for Entrepreneur magazine and recently featured in Forbes and Business Insider and on NBC, ESPN, ABC and Fox News, his message delivers powerful take-home value and a detailed action plan for every attendee. Mayberry’s presentation is sponsored by Rabo AgriFinance.

Gary O. Ridge, CEO and member of the board of directors of WD-40 Company, will be the 2020 Top Producer Summit’s closing speaker. Ridge is responsible for developing and implementing high-level strategies and the oversight of all relationships and partnerships for the WD-40 Company. He also serves as a member of the board of governors of The San Diego Foundation and the University of San Diego’s School of Business Administration, where he’s an adjunct professor teaching leadership development, talent management and succession planning.

“We are excited to showcase these two respected business leaders at this year’s the 2020 Top Producer Summit,” said Charlene Finck, President, Producer Media for Farm Journal. “They both bring valuable insights and fresh perspectives on adapting to changing environments and achieving success by learning how to lead through change. These messages are highly relatable to many of the challenges large-scale producers in agriculture face today.”

The Summit is a combination of five highly regarded Farm Journal conferences: Top Producer Seminar, Tomorrow’s Top Producer, Executive Women in Agriculture (EWA), the Legacy Conference and Hemp Summit. The 2020 Summit will be one of the best networking events in agriculture and will bring together producers from across the U.S. and Canada. Co-located with the event is the 2020 Trust in Food Summit, with a full lineup of speakers focused on conservation and sustainability brought forward by America’s Conservation Ag Movement. With its lineup of topics and combined conferences, the Summit is poised to attract more than 900 of the most influential row crop producers. The five events will run simultaneously, and each will feature speakers, networking and discussions specific to the audience.

Platinum level sponsors of the event include Bayer, Case IH, Channel, Fendt, , Rabo AgriFinace and Syngenta. Gold sponsors include Beck’s and Valent. Silver sponsors include AgXplore, BASF, Top Third Ag Marketing, Pioneer, Corteva and Pivot Bio. Bronze sponsors for the event include Conservis, Claas, Farmers Mutual Hail, Granular and K-Coe Isom.
