Farmers and Ranchers to Discuss On-Farm Effects of COVID-19 during Farm Journal’s May 28 Farm Country Update

Lenexa, Kan., (May 26, 2020) — A panel of farmers and ranchers from across the United States will take part in an open discussion about how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected their farming operations, families and communities during Farm Journal’s next Farm Country Update, “The On-Farm Effects of COVID-19,” which is set for Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 3 p.m. CDT.

The live digital event will focus on the challenges production agriculture is facing today as well as what the “new” normal might look like in the months — and even years — to come for farmers and ranchers. Tyne Morgan, host of U.S. Farm Report, will moderate the panel discussion.

Panelists include:
• Ricky Dollison, Poulon, Ga.
• Zach Ducheneaux, Eagle Butte, S.D.
• Danny Murphy, Clinton, Miss.
• Renee Strickland, Myakka City, Fla.

“This amazing group of panelists will share unique perspectives on how COVID-19 has affected their farming operations and what they see as the biggest challenges agriculture will face going forward,” said Charlene Finck, president of Farm Journal. “These panelists bring in-the-trenches experience that will be valuable to the entire agri-food value chain as we work together to keep America’s farmers farming and our food supply moving forward.”

Registration for this digital event is free to anyone who would like to attend.
