Farm Journal Field Days Serves America’s Top Farmers and Ranchers with High-Value Program to Help Them #FarmON

Lenexa, Kan., (July 1, 2020) —The New American Farm Show™ experience, a celebration of learning and entertainment for farmers, ranchers and all of agriculture, is ready to #FarmON™ .

After 90 days of ideation, audience research and customer listening, the schedule for the two-week virtual event has been released — featuring a robust variety of demonstrations, keynote speakers, rich content and opportunities for live farmer engagement. The multi-media experience is poised to deliver valuable opportunities for agribusinesses to engage with current and prospective customers in a manner never before provided by traditional farm shows.

“Our multi-discipline team pulled together a world-class program lineup, including more than 100 informational sessions that align with key interests and needs of the crop and livestock sectors,” said Charlene Finck, president of Farm Journal. “The program kicks off Aug 17-21 with the acclaimed 28th Pro Farmer Crop Tour™, and then continues Aug 25–27 with Farm Journal Field Days™ featuring virtual and on-farm events.”

The virtual program includes a main stage with powerful keynote speakers and demonstrations; special pavilions for equipment, crops, livestock, technology and other topics; interactive exhibits from leading agribusiness companies and interactive discussions with other farmers and ranchers. Online participants will mingle with VIPs participating in COVID-conscious live events on farms in Iowa and Ohio. The program is designed to attract qualified national audiences from every segment in agriculture and will continue online for a year to deliver 24/7/365-day engagement and data-driven lead activation for participating companies.

The blitz ends with the #FarmON™ Benefit Concert, headlined by Grammy-nominated and ACM Award-winning country artist Lee Brice, who joins a slate of top country performers in a free virtual concert. As the grand finale of Farm Journal Field Days, the concert is Farm Journal’s way of saying thank you to everyone in agriculture for keeping our nation’s food supply moving forward. Donations from the concert will benefit the National 4-H Council’s FOURWARD Fund. The #FarmON movement is fueled by the engagement of farmers and ranchers across the nation supporting agriculture and each other.

“We have been all-hands-on-deck for months now and made an enormous investment to create the New American Farm Show experience,” said Andy Weber, CEO of Farm Journal. “Virtual events like this don’t come together overnight. This is our ‘Plan A’— it’s the best of what Farm Journal can do, and it’s a model of the next generation of events, perfect for this season and for the future. We’re partnering creatively with exhibitors and offering ROI guarantees for their investments in this landmark experience for our nation’s farmers and ranchers.”
