Farm Journal Field Days™ Announces ROI Performance Guarantee for Exhibitors

Lenexa, Kan., (June 9, 2020) — With respect to what made farm shows successful in the past, but with sensitivity to the situation with COVID-19 and the realization the event experience in agriculture and elsewhere is permanently changing, Farm Journal is launching the farm show of the future with Farm Journal Field Days™. The innovative new show is designed to provide maximum business value and personal interaction, plus a performance guarantee for exhibitors.

“Cutting to the chase, we will deliver such a producer-rich experience that we can guarantee exhibitors will experience double the ROI they get from the Farm Progress Show —  in awareness, qualified leads, in halving their expense or however exhibitors measure success,” said Andy Weber, CEO of Farm Journal.

Farm Journal Field Days is a personalized experience combining education, engagement and entertainment with a #FarmOn™ Benefit Concert and other activities. This suite of events is part of producer-researched demanded content. Farm Journal Field Days will produce a three-day online/video/streaming program designed to inform, entertain and engage farmers and ranchers personalized to their registered needs. Tens of thousands of top producers will be able to access what they need based on Farm Journal’s unprecedented collection of first party behavioral data coupled with demographic data on 1.6 million producers.

To add a live feel to this new American farm show, full-day on-farm demonstrations and programming will be held at the Blue Diamond Farming Company in Jesup, Iowa, on Aug. 25 and the Newcomer Farm in Bryan, Ohio, on Aug. 27. One hundred top producers will be voluntarily selected to participate in person on each farm with above-recommended social distancing rules but in a highly personal, interactive experience.

Running concurrently will be dozens of topic-specific pavilions allowing producers to pick and choose the content or product sessions best suited for their operation. Participation will be electronically scheduled, and each attendee will be reminded when their key interest segments start. Farm Journal will then offer this content online for a year and push this content out for exhibitors all year in a data-driven customized fashion.

“The guarantee is performance-driven and tailored to each exhibitor’s unique objectives and how they measure ROI,” Weber said. “So whether you spend $1 million or $10,000 on your Farm Progress Show obligation, we will guarantee to double your ROI — whether that means double your exposure or leads or match your previous ROI performance at half the expense.”
