Farm Country Update to Feature Industry Expert Insights on Short- and Long-Term Effects of COVID-19 on Agriculture

Lenexa, Kan., (May 11, 2020) — From on-farm production to keeping food on grocery store shelves, the impacts of COVID-19 have been felt in every segment of America’s agriculture and food supply systems. The short- and long-term effects of the pandemic are the focus of Farm Journal’s next Farm Country Update “From Sprint to Marathon — The Economic, Supply Chain and Political Impacts of COVID-19 on U.S. Agriculture,” which is set for Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 3 p.m. CDT.

The live digital event will focus on the challenges all segments of agriculture are facing today, as well as what the “new” normal might look like in the months — and even years — to come. Farm Journal’s Chip Flory, host of AgriTalk, will moderate the event.

Panelists include:
