America’s Conservation Ag Movement Supports Nebraska Conservation Ag Field Day

Lenexa, Kan., (August 25, 2021) — Nebraska farmers and landowners are encouraged to join their peers from Antelope, Knox and Pierce counties to explore conservation and nutrient management practices at the Bazile Demonstration Site Field Day, set for Thursday, Sept. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CDT. The event is hosted by Bazile Groundwater Management Area (BGMA).

The free program will feature discussions around important stewardship topics including nutrient management, cover crops, BGMA groundwater research and current research being conducted at the demonstration site. Attendees will hear from experts on these topics, such as Dr. Troy Gilmore, Aaron Hird, Ed Olsen, Chris Proctor and Dr. Daran Rudnick.
